The system's namesake, this features is at the core of the system. As simply a Public Relations and Advertising tool, this feature makes the system worth while. A press release by definition is a piece of current news made public quickly after its occurrence. What makes this an ideal outlet for a press release is the fact that all interested parties can be notified immediately of all or selective press releases as they are made available. This also saves time and money internally by making your press releases available in one singular spot to the public via the most public of all mediums, the Internet.
This is a full page calendar which shows the name of each event right on the corresponding date in the calendar. Visitors can click on any event for detailed information such as times, locations, recurrences, etc. You can also display a small calendar on the home page with similar functions and even link to the full Media Central Calendar.
If configured, visitors can post their own events and update existing events. These are all reviewed by a site administrator before they're posted live on the site.

By law and the Public Information Disclosure Act, all municipal Meeting Minutes must be made available to the public upon request. You simply enter the minutes onto you word processor, (which you do anyway) and cut and paste onto your Press Release Meeting Minutes form, and it is posted and organized by date. Among its several components, the Job Postings is one of the core components of the system. By simply filling out an online form, job openings are automatically listed in the appropriate section. You can place a time limit on the listing and have it automatically purged after the set deadline. Users of the system can register to be automatically notified by email of all new job postings, or limit the notifications by key word or topic. There is no set limit to the number of postings to the system.
